Dianne Marshall has gained a reputation as the industry’s leading hair extension specialist. With over 25 years of experience, she has studied the art of installing hair extensions. Now, she wants to share her knowledge to you by following her easy application methods.
The hair extension courses are designed for stylists who have completed their Level 2NVQ and cover a range of hair extensions, including Microweave & Tape, and iTip and Nano Tip.
All of our courses are held at our brand new salon, which is based in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. We are so excited to invite you into our new salon and help you develop your hair extension skills!

Method Descriptions
DM Micro Weave – This course teaches you step by step how and where to place the micro lock extensions to the existing hair then how to stitch the wefts on to the locks.
DM I Tips – This course teaches you how to position the tips and lock the tip in with a copper tube.
DM Nano Tips – This course teaches you the method of using nano beads to lock in the hair extensions.
DM Tapes – This course teaches you how to position and apply tape hair extensions by sandwiching the clients hair in between the tapes.
DM Braided Weave – This course teaches you step-by-step the art of cornrow braiding, how to tie off the braids then stitching wefts on to the braids (Upon request).
This course includes full kit.
You will need the following items:
- Bring a model if possible, doll head and stand will be provided.
- Hairdressing Scissors and cutting comb for blending extensions. Tail comb, clamps and clips.
Terms and Conditions:
- £100 deposit is required upon booking the course and the remaining balance will be due 1 week before the course.
- Hair extensions for model must be purchased separately or practice hair will be available to use but will be removed at the end of the day.
FAQs
How much is your course?
Our course is £349 to learn two methods with one full in-depth training day. All of our training courses take place in our brand new venue in Liverpool City Centre. We can also come out to your salon to train for 3 people or more.
Do I have to be a hairdresser to take the course?
As our courses are endorsed by Habia, Habia require that you have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in hairdressing to take our courses.
How many people are on the course?
Minimum 2 learners maximum 5 learners. We feel that this is the perfect amount of people to ensure that you get the in-depth training and feel confident once you have completed the day.
Who will be training me?
Dianne Marshall, who is a full accredited educator with over 25 years of industry experience is always hands-on with the training. For larger groups, Dianne has one of her highly skilled and very experienced team members who will work alongside her.
Do you provide a training kit?
Yes, our kits are packed with every hair extension tool you need to get yourself started. The kit will include – Dianne Marshall colour ring, micro ring kit (clamp and looper inside), sewing thread, needles, tape remover, re-tapes, and silicone microbeads.
Do I have access to a trade account?
Yes, taking our courses entitles you to open your trade account with us, which offers fantastic trade discounts and access to your online trade account at any time. During the course, we offer product knowledge of our full range, how to do a consultation and also how to colour match.
Do I get after support?
We want you to feel confident to start your new career straight away, if we feel that you need additional support we will invite you to come back and sit in on another course free of charge for up to 6 months. After this, it would be classed as a refresher course where we can offer at a 50% discount. In addition to this, we want to support you in your new business. We are always available to help you with orders, whether it be colour matching or deciding how much hair your client needs, plus we will promote you on our website and all of our social media channels.
What qualification do I get for completing the course?
All Dianne Marshall courses are fully accredited and endorsed by the Habia organisation that sets the standards for hairdressing. You will receive your own highly recognised certificate.
