Tapes are either installed in a brickwork pattern for adding length and thickness or a scattered pattern for adding colour. Tapes are also used for filling out the sides. They are attached by peeling off the adhesive tab and placing it on top of the section of the hair, the an additional tape underneath sandwiching the client’s hair in between. The amount of tapes required depends on the length and thickness of your hair and the length and thickness of the desired look you want to achieve,

Will tapes add volume to my hair?
Tape extensions are virtually undetectable and great for adding length and thickness to all hair lengths as they sit flat on the scalp. They also make an ideal choice of hair extension for shorter hair as the tapes can be applied closer to the crown and to your parting so tapes can break up short hair more than wefts are able to. Tapes are also great for filling out sides that wefts can’t reach and for adding slices of colour.
