I-Tip Hair Extensions

I-Tips are installed by using 1cm sections of your own hair and pulling the hair through a copper tube, then installing the tip through the tube and clamping shut. The amount of tips applied will depend on the thickness of your own hair and the desired look that you want to achieve.

If you still want hair extensions that are unrecognisable when applied, we offer other types of luxury tip extensions that may be suited to you. Nano tips are similar to I-Tips but the tip is a small silicone tip and nano beads are used instead of copper tubes, making them more discreet. Flat tips are also an individual but the tip is a keratin bond and fuses into your own hair, rather than using a bead.

If taken care of, our I-Tips can last up to 12 months. Tips need to be taken out and re-fitted every 10-12 weeks. The tips at the top of the extension usually last approximately 9 months, however, you can have them refitted at your local hair salon. At Dianne Marshall, we offer a re-tipping service in our Liverpool salon so that you can get longer out of your hair.

I-Tips do not damage your hair if they are fitted correctly and maintained correctly. People with fine hair should have their re-fitting done more often as to avoid tangling from the regrowth. People with thicker hair usually get longer out of their I-Tip extensions.
